I. Basic Provisions
The controller of personal data pursuant to Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) is Solintech Automation s. r. o., Company ID No.: 55920861, registered office: J. G. Tajovského 1866/35, 941 31 Dvory nad Žitavou (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”).

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that person.
The Controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer.
II. Sources and Categories of Processed Personal Data
The Controller processes personal data that you have provided or personal data obtained by the Controller in connection with the fulfillment of your order.
The Controller processes your identification and contact details and data necessary for the performance of a contract.
III. Legal Basis and Purpose of Personal Data Processing
The legal basis for processing personal data is:
- the performance of a contract between you and the Controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
- the legitimate interest of the Controller in carrying out direct marketing (in particular for sending commercial offers and newsletters) pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
- the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
The purposes of processing personal data are:
- to process your request and to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the Controller; when filling in the contact form, the personal data required for the successful processing of your request (name, address, contact details) must be provided,
- to send commercial offers and carry out other marketing activities.
The Controller does not engage in automated individual decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. You have given your explicit consent to such processing where applicable.
IV. Data Retention Period
The Controller retains personal data:
- for the period necessary to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the Controller and to assert claims from these contractual relationships (for a period of 15 years after the end of the contractual relationship),
- for the period until consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes is withdrawn, but no longer than 15 years if the processing is based on consent.
After the retention period expires, the Controller will delete the personal data.
V. Recipients of Personal Data (Controller’s Subcontractors)
Recipients of personal data include:
- persons involved in receiving messages from contact forms and reservations,
- persons providing marketing services.
The Controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country (outside the EU) or to an international organization.
Services providing marketing and support functions:
- Google Analytics – records cookies and website usage,
- Google Ads – records cookies and website usage.
VI. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR),
- rectification of personal data (Article 16 GDPR) or restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR),
- erasure of personal data (Article 17 GDPR),
- object to processing (Article 21 GDPR),
- data portability (Article 20 GDPR),
- withdraw your consent to processing, either in writing or electronically, to the address or email of the Controller stated in Article III of these terms. You can withdraw your consent at any time within your customer account.
If you believe that your right to personal data protection has been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
VII. Conditions of Personal Data Security
The Controller declares that it has taken all appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data.
Technical measures include securing data storage and physical personal data records, encrypted website access, password encryption in the database, regular system updates, and regular system backups.
The Controller declares that only authorized persons have access to personal data.
VIII. Final Provisions
By submitting a message through the website form, you confirm that you have been informed of the terms of personal data protection and that you accept them in full.
You consent to these terms by checking the consent box in the online form. By checking the consent box, you confirm that you have read and fully accept the personal data protection terms.
The Controller reserves the right to change these terms. The new version of the Privacy Policy will be published on the Controller’s website and sent to your email address provided to the Controller.
These terms are effective as of May 25, 2018.
